Current Best Data Bundle Plan to Enjoy Surfing with PC and Smartphones

Airtel bb plans are the plan that we are previously enjoying to surf on the net with our PC and Smartphones but it is so ill-fated that the Airtel network I sometimes give kudos to has now turn into displeasure network for we non bb phone users.

Airtel administrator wants to prove smart. They allow people to subscribe to their BB plans and it is still working well for non BB users but in a provoking way. When you subscribed to their  2GB plan now, you won't enjoy up to 1GB before Airtel will wipe it off.
The most irritating part is that they wipe data anyhow as if they are drinking bottled water. They don't want to stop it because of the huge money they are generating but they are deviate to something I can’t understand, be wise my people.

When here is another alternative, if you really want to enjoy surfing and the value of your money, I will suggest you give MTN Night Plan a trial; except if the Mtn browsing network poor in your locality.
The Mtn Night Plan is 4.5GB data bundle caped cost N2,500, 1.5GB allocated for the days and the rest 3GB can only be used at night from 9PM to 6AM and 24hours on weekends.

You can also surf using the rest 3GB with simple trick,  just make sure you don't switch OFF your data after usage or ON it before 6AM and it will continue to surf anytime anywhere during the day time. Check out the link below for more detail on how subscribe for Mtn Night Plan:
The Mtn Night Plan is perfectly working and suitable for PC, Android phone, iPhone/iPad, Tablet, Symbian, Windows Phones and others.

Do you have any other suggestion or contribution about the Airtel BB Plan issue or Do you know any other current working cheapest plan? Let's hear from you. Cheers!!!

Learn How To Activate Your Verve Cards For Online Transactions at Nigeria ATMs

The Verve card is the new Interswitch debit card now with the Chip and PIN. Verve is the new name of the more secure and convenient Interswitch card which with the introduction of chip and PIN makes transactions safer and with Quickteller services, adds convenience to everyday life. Verve is issued by Nigeria banks and powered by Interswitch. The Verve is simply the new name of the InterSwitch ATM card. The different types of Verve cards includes: Verve Debit, Verve PrePaid and Master Card Verve. The Verve debit card is the one linked to your savings or current account by your bank.

You can use your Verve card on all channels (ATMs, mobile, POS, Web, and Kiosk) and locations with logos bearing: Verve, InterSwitch, Quickteller, Reward. I use my Verve debit cards a lot to pay for online transactions as well as transfer money to other bank accounts via the Quickteller app. You can also use it to withdraw cash, pay bills and purchase airtime at ATMs.
Nigerian Banks that currently issue Verve cards are listed below:
  1. Access Bank Plc
  2. Ecobank Plc
  3. Enterprise Bank Limited
  4. FCMB
  5. First Bank Plc
  6. Fidelity Bank Plc
  7. Heritage bank Limited
  8. Jaiz Bank
  9. Keystone Bank
  10. Wema Bank Plc
  11. Mainstreet Bank Limited
  12. Sterling Bank Plc
  13. Skye Bank Plc
  14. UBA
  15. Unity Bank Plc

Simply walk into any bank branch to request for a Verve Card.

Once you get your verve card, activate it by changing the PIN at the ATM. Once activated, you can start using it for your transactions but for you to use it to make payments online, you must register the Verve card for Interswitch Safetoken Service.
Interswitch Safetoken Service is a system that generates a 6-8 digit One-Time-Password (OTP) whenever a transaction is initiated via the Interswitch Web Payment Platform.

Registering for the Safetoken enables you carry out transactions on any web merchant site that has integrated the Interswitch Payment gateway using a One Time Password (OTP) as a second level authentication process in addition to your Card Number, PIN and CVV2 code.
For you to be able generate OTP for your Verve card whenever you are carrying out a transaction with it, you will first have to register it for the safetoken service.

You can do that at a nearest ATM by following the steps below:
  • At the ATM, insert your Verve card
  • Input your 4-digit PIN and press Enter
  • Select your bank account type eg Savings or Current
  • Select the ‘Quickteller’ option from the ATM menu screen
  • Select ‘Pay Bills’ from the Quickteller menu list on the ATM screen
  • Select ‘Others’ for the bill payment menu option list
  • Enter ‘322222” as the Biller Code
  • Enter your Phone Number as the Customer Reference Number and select ‘Proceed’
  • You will get a display “Do you want to make this payment?” Amount Due:N1. (DO NOT edit the amount to be paid)
  • Click on “Pay amount due
You will then get a confirmation page indicating the registration was successful!

That is all.

Thereafter, if you want to make payment online with your verve card and you get to a stage where you are prompted to enter an OTP, you will get the OTP via text message on your mobile phone which you will use to complete your online transaction. If you add the verve card to the Quickteller mobile application, you will also be able to generate an OTP from the application.

How to Download Paid Android Games & Applications For Free

This post is exclusively for Android users who are addicted to Games and Applications. The post will explain 3 different best ways on how you can get Paid Android Games and Applications for free, which are as follows:

1. File sharing Websites:- The best way to download Android games and applications for free is through file sharing websites. The files to be downloaded on those websites was done by Android users who download or buy paid applications and upload them in file sharing websites. The best popular file sharing websites are:
Out of all the File Sharing Websites, I recommend 4shared, It simply the best and most popular with loads of cool Applications and Games.

Steps To Download Paid Applications From Those Websites
  1. Just log on to any of the above listed websites
  2. Type the application name you want to download for free in their search bar and
  3. Add the extension of “.apk e.g For example, if you want to download ADWLauncher EX (A paid app in Google play Store), type Adw launcher ex .apk and press enter. The results will then be viewed.
From the results, click the latest uploaded file and download it. Once the .apk file is downloaded, transfer it to your phone with a USB cable and install it on your phone.

Note: You can also download 4shared application from the market instead of searching applications on the web, you can use it directly to download any files.

2. BlackMart Alpha App:- BlackMart Alpha is an Android application itself, used for downloading paid applications for free. You need to search for BlackMart Alpha in the above mentioned file sharing sites, Search results will appear, Locate and Download this application, Transfer and install it on your Smart phone. After installation, open the BlackMart Alpha application, It has the same design like that of the Android Market App on your Smart phone. A list of applications will appear in it. You can also use the search option to search and download a paid application for Free with BlackMart Alpha.
The price of the specified or searched application will strike out. Click on download and install it directly to your Smart phone for free.

Note: Don’t update any application you downloaded from BlackMart Alpha as there are chances that it might corrupt that application.

3. Paying for Application in Android Market: - The last tip, which is most reliable and the best way to download the paid application is by paying for an application in the Android market. To use this option you should have a good file explorer application like ASTRO File Manager and ES File Explorer.
Install ES File Explorer or ASTRO File Manager If you don't have it yet on your Phone, Go to Android market and purchase any application.
Within 15 minutes of the trial period you can get the full refund if you cancel the order.
The application gets downloaded to your Smart phone.
Open ES file explorer, Click on Options >> Manager >> App Manager.
Go to list of installed applications and click on the application you just purchased and click on the backup. The application backup will be made in the backup folder of your SD card.
Once the backup is made, cancel the order from the Google Play Store and install it from the backup folder again. Your money will be refunded after you cancel the order.

So these are the Surest Way I have been using to download any Paid Applications for free.
Enjoy!

How to Extend Whatsapp Free Trial Period to Lifetime

Whatsapp is a messaging application just like the inbuilt message but it requires the internet, its an instant messenger which deliver your message immediately you send it and you receive message immediately you are sent a message which is called Instant Message. Whatsapp users are entitled to one year free trial period before the person will be subsequently paying after trial ends and this is not just a single year, you will have to pay a lesser price of $0.99 annually but this is unlike that of iPhone which they only pay once and the application is forever. 12 Ways To Protect Android/Tablet Devices From Malware Infection

Since the introduction of modern computers, malicious software or malware has been an omnipresent issue. Viruses, Trojans, rootkits, spyware, keyloggers and several others of the like continue to assault your computing devices all the time, looking for vulnerabilities and loopholes in your defenses to get through. Generally, users have become aware enough to deploy some form of protection on their desktops and notebooks, and while infections continue to plague the computing world, they’re significantly reduced in impact.
Smartphones today are nothing short of portable computers as well, and just like that, are prone to malware attacks. Hard as it may seem to believe, developers do spend time creating Smartphone malware that would let them access your personal information, exploit personal data and otherwise do damage to your device. Android Device is a fast growing mobile platform with apps exceeding 600,000 in the Google Play Store, and believe me when I tell you that an assessment puts over 100,000 of them as “questionable”. While most users don’t pay much attention to it, it’s imperative that you secure your Android smartphone or tablet against the growing threat of mobile malware. They say prevention is better than cure, and in this post, we’ll provide some basic pointers on how to achieve that.

Ways to Keep your Android/Tablet Device Secure

There are easy ways to reduce the risk of infection in your Android. Most of these ways are simply common sense. Developers and specific cell phone manufacturers do encourage their customers to use the proper download applications and widgets.

1. Download Only From Official Stores

When downloading apps, prefer the well-reputed channels, mainly Google Play Store and the Amazon App Store. Google implements a rudimentary “bouncer” to ward off malware, and the rest is taken care of by the very-active Android user community. Hence, these two sources are your most reliable ones.

2. Keep Installation of Apps from Unknown Sources at “Off”

Unless you’re a power user, it’s highly advisable to keep installation of apps from Unknown Sources at “off” in the device’s settings. This will help ensure that nothing enters the system except through official channels.

3. Rooted Devices are More Susceptible

Most advanced users choose to root their android devices, be extra cautious about granting Superuser access to any app. Make sure you understand the purpose of the SU access, and trust the developer enough to grant it. This is the highest level of access that anyone (or anything) can have on your Android device, so be really careful with this one.

4. Install an Antivirus/Security App on Your Android Smartphone

A lot of capable contenders are available in the Google Play Store for that purpose, with more notable ones being Avast! Free Mobile Security, Lookout Mobile Security, AVG Mobile Security, Kapersky and Norton Mobile Security, just to name a few. There is a different feature-set offered by each, so you have room to weigh your options carefully before making a decision to go with one.

5. It is Important to Read App reviews and See ratings before downloading

Read app reviews and see ratings before you choose to download anything. If it’s something from a renowned developer, you’re less likely to run into trouble as opposed to an app with hardly any downloads and just 2-3 reviews. As a rule of thumb, I don’t prefer apps with a rating of less than at least 3 stars.

6. Examine the Permissions that an App is Asking For, During Installation

Carefully examine the permissions that an app is asking for, and use your own judgment to decide whether you want that app or not. E.g A puzzle game asking to access your contacts and phone app is never really a good idea, and neither is a torch app seeking internet permission. Discard apps that seem shady – they’re usually not worth risking personal information over.

7. Keep Your Phone Locked Always

While not strictly a malware protection measure, it’s still a good idea to keep your phone locked for security. Someone else gaining access to your device might be able to install undesired software before you reclaim access, and hence, causing you to remain unaware of the whole deal until it’s too late. Likewise, a remote wipe app should also be there, should you ever encounter a scenario where normal access to the device gets blocked by the malware infection.

8. Never access links embedded in mass-broadcast messages/emails on your phone.

You never know what’s hidden underneath a URL, and it’s harder to check that on a Smartphone as opposed to a traditional computer. Phishing scams thrive under unrestricted access through your web browser.

9. Beware of Fake Apps Even on Play Store

On the Play Store, there are loads of fake apps designed with the intention of infecting your device and stealing your private information. Some apps are designed only to push ads to your Smartphone. As a matter of fact, most popular apps often have similar ones that are actually fakes. You should be careful with these sorts of apps.

10. Avoid Pirated Apps

If you love cracks and pirated apps, your device may become infected without you even knowing it. Pirated apps most often carry Malware strands. Besides, you’re not helping the developers who work hard trying to create these games and apps. Saving $0.99 isn’t worth it, really.

11. Porn is the Most Efficient Source of Malware Delivery

I’m in no position to judge you or tell you what to do with your device but it has been proven that pornographic sites are the most efficient when it comes to infecting your device with malwares. Well, you know what to do… be careful with sites you visit.

12. Stay Updated

Be on your toes so far as updates are concerned. This is one way in which manufacturers and carriers ensure that you remain protected from Malware attacks. These updates can include enhancements, bug fixes, new features each of which are designed to keep your system in tune with the right way to tackle the malicious attacks. Apart from updating your apps, be sure your device operating system is also up-to-date.
Conclusion
Following the above steps will help you ensure that your device remains secure, safe from malware, and most importantly, exclusively yours. Do you have a tip that we should’ve included here and missed? Drop us a comment below.
